Join us on a unique archipelago experience to the thriving island of Ängsö when the archipelago is at its most beautiful. Here you can stroll along winding paths, meadows and fences, and discover a unique nature and bird life at Sweden's oldest national park.
During selected dates in May & June, Visit Roslagen arranges boat trips to the island with plenty of time to explore this thriving archipelago idyll on your own.
The tours are arranged in safe forms with boat transport starting from Furusund's pier, about 20 minutes from Norrtälje and 80 minutes from Stockholm.
On Ängsö, king bed lilies and goldenrod bloom over the meadows and on the north side of the island you can also experience the orchid Adam & Eva which spreads during the summer.
With a little luck, the mighty sea eagle appears over the treetops during your visit.
On Ängsö there are no restaurants but feel free to enjoy your packed lunch with a fantastic view.
