At Wira Bruk B&B you are staying in a small cottage that sleeps two people (two beds that are 80 cm wide). A cot for smaller children can be borrowed. Toilet, shower, bathtub and sauna is on a separate floor of the main building, to which you will be given a key. In the beautiful garden you can enjoy flowering trees and shrubs as well as a vegetable garden. Free-range hens stroll around the garden and will, if you are lucky, give you fresh eggs for breakfast.
When you get hungry, you can have lunch or a light snack at Wira Restaurant. Maybe you would also like to learn a bit about the history of Wira Bruk through a guided tour or a visit to the museum. Decorative ironwork can be bought in the shop. If you are hiking on the Roslagsleden trail, Wira Bruk B&B is great for a night’s rest. For those with an interest in theatre, an outdoor play called Wiraspelen is performed every year and draws a lot of visitors. If you are on the lookout for a sense of Christmas, you should visit the yearly Christmas market at Wira Bruk.
There is a beach at the lovely lake Viren about 200 meters away. If you would rather go for a swim in the sea, it is within easy reach by bike or by foot. The archipelago can be reached by the ferry to Ljusterö or archipelago boat to Siarö. The nearest urban center is Åkersberga about 2 km away, which you can reach by bus or car.
