South End Of The Lake

Hütte | The Wodden house where you will be staying is built of timber from a 19th century house, although built in 2015 so everything is new and well functioning. 4 persons / beds.

The house named South End of the Lake is an earth house ecologically built with clay and reeds in the walls. Inside, it is painted with the colors of the earth, organic egg oil tempera with earth pigments. For an extra dose of coziness, you can light a fire in the fireplace which is built like a Finnish blast furnace/tiled stove and enjoy the warmth from the crackling fire.

There's fast newly installed wifi.

Enjoy nature and run down to swim in your "own" lake in just one minute! (The beautiful lake is approximately 75 meters from the studio.) It is a spring lake, so the water is clean, and motorboats are not allowed. You will have free access to a canoe and a rowing boat (of course including life jackets), fishing rods, a barbecue grill and the lake cottage where you can sit inside and eat if you do not want to sit outside on the pier.
Go for a stroll in the woods, a walk around the lake, pick blueberries, mushrooms or wild strawberries according to season, go for a jog or a walk in the surrounding area.
Hike the Roslagsleden trail, which is a five-minute walk from the studio, or just lie and relax in a deck chair listening to the birds.

And maybe the best of it all, enjoying the wood-fired sauna by the lake! You will of course have free access to the sauna and firewood.
We have started a "Victory Garden" – just let us know if you want to dig into the ground and do some work in the garden. Mindfulness guaranteed!
SUP paddling, SUP yoga, massage, and an introduction to the Roslagsleden trail are provided as extras!

When you come here, you should not have to worry about anything. You have got everthing here! Just bring your own clothes, swimwear and favorite food (food can also be pre-booked, so you will have a full fridge upon arrival). Everything else is here!

A totally ecological house to yourself with a view of the lake – The lower floor consists of a hall, a bathroom with shower, a kitchen with a fireplace, a laundry room, and a living room. The upper floor has a bedroom for two people overlooking the lake, a bathroom with sink and toilet, a second bedroom with two beds and a bathroom with toilet and sink. The house is fully equipped with: Hand towels, bath towels, shampoo, soap, detergents, candles, bathrobes, slippers, firewood etc.
